Superloop Adelaide 500 28 February - 3 March 2019

Please call us on 1300 656 163 to register your interest in 2020 travel packages.

The Superloop Adelaide 500 is the jewel in the crown of the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship, and continues to hold the honour of opening the series each year. Drivers take on the challenging Adelaide Street Circuit in 250km races on both Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 March..

Among the categories returning to the streets of Adelaide are the four feature series of the Supercars family - Dunlop Super2 Series, Porsche Wilson Security Carerra Cup Australia and ECB SuperUtes.

They will be joined by three exciting series that are among the most popular with Superloop Adelaide 500 fans.

Leading the way is the Touring Car Masters series - which pitches yesteryear's favourite muscle cars against each other with some of the nation's most trusted hands behind the wheel.

Names like former Australian Touring Car champion and Bathurst winner John Bowe, and former Supercars veteran Steve Johnson are among the field's most popular drivers.

The Aussie Racing Cars will also return to Adelaide after a hiatus in 2018. The pocket rockets are much-loved fixtures in Australian motorsport and will no doubt provide their own fair share of panel-rubbing racing on the streets of Adelaide.

Rounding out the seven categories at 2019's event will be the returning Audi Sport R8 LMS Cup, which is one of the world's foremost single-make series and the only to offer full-spec GT3 cars across the field - all with V10 power under the hood.

With less than 100 days until the Supercars series ignites the streets of Adelaide to kick off its 2019 season, the announcement of the Chili Peppers as the finale for three nights of concerts will get hardcore motorsport fans and city thrill seekers revved up.

The concert, which will take place following the conclusion of the Superloop Adelaide 500 on Sunday 3 March, will in turn provide the spark to heat up the South Australian capital's famous 'Mad March' festival season.

The only Adelaide performance for the Red Hot Chili Peppers forms part of the band's first Australian tour for 12 years.
